PHENOLOGY PHOTO CHALLENGE: REPTILES/AMPHIBIANS

« Back to calendar « Previous Event | Next Event »
Wednesday April 22, 2020 - Tuesday April 28, 2020

Join Midwest Conservation Dogs, Inc. and Waukesha County Land Conservancy for our 2020 Phenology Photo Challenge!

What is Phenology? It is nature's calendar - the study of cyclic and seasonal natural phenomena, especially in relation to climate and plant and animal life.

Throughout the month of April, we will be offering weekly challenges for you to complete whether in your backyard, on a neighborhood walk, or out in nature. We want to see your findings!

Follow along for instructions, to join in on the fun and learn more about phenology in the process.

During this week in the phenology photo challenge, we encourage you to get outdoors, experience your surroundings and share your observations! When you have the opportunity, snap a photo of any reptiles or amphibians you see. Note where you are and the time of day, and try to identify them yourself! Please share them with us on Facebook, Instagram, or via email (wclc1992@gmail.com) so others can see the amazing life and changes happening around us.
