Allison Heine de Romero

Operations Director
Allison joined Waukesha County Land Conservancy's staff in 2022 with a background in administrative leadership, education, and outreach. She grew up in Waukesha County and passionately lives by the mission of WCLC. The best part of her job is connecting with the incredible conservation community and learning more about the natural world. 

Allison enjoys any opportunity to spend time outdoors with her family appreciating the many ways nature has created places to play, art to look at, and music to hear.

Helen Holtz

Land Management Director
Helen grew up on a Waukesha County Land Conservancy easement in Mukwonago and has since worked seasonal conservation positions throughout the United States and several countries around the world. She has over a decade worth of experience and knowledge in land restoration and management, wildlife rehabilitation, and environmental education. 

When not caring for Waukesha County Land Conservancy properties, Helen is spending as much time as possible with her husband, Ryan, and their many pets. She is an avid hiker, kayaker, birder, and general outdoor enthusiast.
